Re: 3ds max logs unreadable

Thank you for fast reply. it appears the issue is kinda crucial for us, as we need to trace down chunk's failure root cause. Is there any road map for this issue, can we expect for resolving it in nearest releases? From the other hand, maybe there is a way to override it so we could check for logs i...

3ds max logs unreadable

Hi, we've encountered with some sort of encoding issue, while rendering a scene with 3ds max 2016. Some chunks failed so we've tried to check output logs from RenderPal client for errors, if any, but it appears to be totally useless for us. Here's the example line just to show what I mean by useless...

wildcards in path map

Hi, is there a way to use a wildcard/regexps as path map's Original path value ? For instance, to allow an artist to submit a job with a path to scene {no matter what's here}\dropbox\renderfolder\input\scene.file and translate it to \\network.share\renderfolder\input\scene.file on render servers. Job balancing

Hi, I have a render farm with 3 identical nodes (clients). I've submitted a job splitted into 9 chunks, somehow it got assigned to nodes as 4-1-4 chunks on each node. (it actually changes from time to time, but I've never seen it as 3-3-3 ) Of course, once the single chunk was processed, the node we...
