Please take a look at the server's event log when you try to submit this. This error should only appear if no data can be transferred across the network, which might be caused by a firewall or similar.

hm there is no firewall or something else... but the Client I want to send from is an OSX Workstation and the Renderpal-Server is on a Windows machine.
Have I turn on a special Protocoll ?

All operating systems these days have some kind of built-in security/firewall, so there always might be something "in the way". Ensure that nothing blocks RenderPal; it uses TCP/IP in most cases, and the RC runs on port 7506 by default.

Können wir eigentlich Deutsch reden ? Location scheint ja Germany zu sein..

Ansonsten:

Firewall is definetly turned off. On the Mac and on the PC. I closed/disabled all FW & Anti Virus Programms.
It is completely no Problem to connect the clients to the Server from an other windows client.

I can see the render server from the OSX Machine in the network environment and I can access the machine.

This is my RpRcCmd.conf with Nuke tells me that there have to be an error.

[RemoteController.General]
; This is the "name" of the remote controller
Alias = %COMPUTERNAME%

[RemoteController.NetJobs]
; The default net job name format if none is specified
NetJobNameFormat = Unnamed net job - $(scene)

; Specify the address of the RenderPal V2 Server here
[RemoteController.Server]
; Address of the server
ServerAddress = 192.168.2.200 <--- Renderserver IP
; Port of the server (default = 7506)
ServerPort = 7506

Da das Forum für alle da ist, ist die Sprache hier ausschließlich Englisch; mailen kann man uns allerdings auch auf Deutsch.

The config looks fine (as long as the IP and port are correct). You should try to launch the console RC manually: Open a Terminal, browse to /Applications/rprccmd and run the following command: ./rprrccmd -nj_renderer "Software renderer" -nj_name "Test" test.txt

See if this gives different results.

Which OSX version are you running? I just checked it on my MacBook running 10.7 and it is working fine. This is most certainly a system-related problem.

This is caused by a version mismatch; the server version is most likely higher than that of the remote controller (indicated by the error "Challenging the target server failed."). Updating the remote controller to the correct version should solve this.
