/lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or dir

Postby fredrik » 20 Sep 2013, 15:37

I've just installed CentOS 6.4 and downloaded the Linux RPClient 2.8.1.1590.
When I run rpclientcmd I get the following error:

Code: Select all
./rpclientcmd: /home/IRUser/Desktop/rpclientcmd_2.8.1.1590_linux/rpclientcmd.bin: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory

Any recommendations on how to move forward?

Regards,
Fredrik

Is this a 64bit system? If so, you might need to install the ia32-libs first.

I got this problem and it got solved in CentOS 6.4 by installing:

Code: Select all
yum install glibc.i686 libgcc.i686
