Clients Windows 7 64-bit, Maya 2016 anf Chaosgroup V-ray for it, floating licenses. RenderPal server on 2008 R2. Classroom environment, RenderPal client told to be active only when there is no one logged in.
On Maya v-ray works, gets a license and so on. Configured the Maya V-ray renderer to be that render.exe in Maya's bin-folder. Set the scene and submit a net job, shortly after starting chunks in Event tab say that V-ray could not obtain a license. If I copy the maya command line from the output tab and run it from CMD it works fine.
Any ideas?
Maya V-ray cannot obtain a floating license
Re: Maya V-ray cannot obtain a floating license
Seems that using Scene renderer in Render set solves this.
