Add render engine to client?

Postby NicebergStudios » 01 Jun 2016, 15:15

Hi people,

We are testing RenderPal with all different kinds of software. We even installed Blender to test. However, we have hit a little issue. When we installed RenderPal on the client nodes we never said the Blender render engine would be installed. Now that we want to test RenderPal with Blender, we need to point the to the render engine.

How can we add the render engine to the clients? Do we need to reinstall RenderPal for that?

If you have deleted the renderer, yes. If you chose to only hide the unused renderers, you can just unhide it using the renderer management.

Would it be possible for you to export/make available the default renderers ?

When installing it way back I made the mistake of deleting the defaults and
now I'm having a hard time setup up a new one for max 2017 ...

basically I mostly need the default renderer for max 2017, so if you could at least make an export of that one
I would be very grateful :)
