We crash tested RpRcCmd.exe.
RP server had 100 netjobs.
We launched 3 our applications which use RpRcCmd. Each application works in the infinite loop(Receive xml from RpRcCmd;Process xml). All our applications which use database file, virus scanners and firewalls were switched off.
One iteration of each applications last ~1500ms - ~2000ms. Its not good for us... And iteration process only part of need data.
Can you propose more faster solution?
Is it possible to cut off returned xml in RpRcCmd? We need part of xml data, not all fields from database in xml format.

Then you should not query all net jobs at once. As mentioned in our manual, the asterisk (*) should be used with great care when doing queries.

We need info about all existing netjobs at the current time. But we do not need all info about netjobs from returned xml.
We use
Code: Select all
RpRcCmd.exe -query netjob:*
In manual i saw that i can use
Code: Select all
RpRcCmd.exe -query netjob:netjob_id, netjob_id...netjob_id
Its part of all netjobs.
How we can to get all necessary information about all netjobs at the current time?
For example: to get only netjob name's all existing netjobs at the current time?

That's not possible. You should simply query a bunch of net jobs at a time and combine all results.

Here's is a very simple possible solution that might actually work:

Simply copy the database file temporarily before querying data from it, and once you've got the information, delete the file again. This way, you don't fiddle around with the original database file but can query any data you need.
