[SOLVED] Mark jobs as approved or rejected

Postby pechart » 28 Mar 2013, 18:13

Hi!

It would be nice to have the possibility to mark rendered Jobs as approved or rejected. This way RP could help to Keep track of Jobs during the whole process.
So the compositing could see, if the 3D Frames are rendered as the Artist intended and so on. and if we could query this with external Tools RP could really become a pipeline tool someday ;)

Thanks!

You could use net job tags to achieve a "lite" version of this.

Yes, but there could also be a little checkbox next to the job that says 'Approved' and so the comp artist would know, that the 3D renders are okay ;)
It could also even start an event, when it gets checked.

Sounds rather special, but we'll keep it in mind.

RenderPal V2 2.9 introduces custom net job fields, which can be used for this.
