RenderPal FILTER

Post by NicebergStudios » 23 May 2017, 10:26

Hi

This is just a minor bug, but it is quite annoying:

When filtering on frame or slice it doesn't follow normal maths, but it puts all ones first etc.

Example:
1
10
11
12
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9

Can this be solved in the next update? :D

Could you post a screenshot clarifying what you're meaning?

Hi

Well for example here it is filtered on slice, but the same applies to frames and time:
RenderPal_filter.jpg
As you can see if you would be rendering these chunks/slices:
1,2,5,6,8,9,10,13,16,20,22,54,87,99

RenderPal would order them like:
1,10,13,16,2,20,22,5,54,6,8,87,9,99
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

This happens as the column is sorted alphabetically. We will consider changing this, but the column can't be sorted numerically, as a client might render more than one frame at the same time.
