Disconnect client from the command line

Is there a way to disconnect a client using the command line rather than starting up the remote controller? Our current workaround is to just kill the RenderpalCl.exe process and then restart it at the end of the day with a scheduled task. I was just wondering if there was an easier way to allow use...

Re: Update to 2.12.0 problems

Yes i updated using the update package from the RenderPal website and i did not remove the update package after updating. As soon as I updated we began to see all of the clients constantly trying to connect and they were all shooting out that "incompatible version" error.

Re: Update to 2.12.0 problems

Well i figured out how to revert back to version 2.11.3, we just reinstalled the software and restored the database from a backup. I would still like to know why the upgrade caused the error that we saw? I thought that the upgrade was supposed to be distributed to the clients by the server?

We just upgraded it to 2.12.0 in order to fix some crashing issues that we were having and now non of our clients are able to connect to the server at all. They give an "incompatible" RenderPal version ...

Re: rendering with maxwell/maya issues

I do not have it configured as a service. We had issues in the past running RenderPal as a service so we currently run a scheduled task that starts up RenderPal when the computer turns on (but not as a service). I have installed and tested this on multiple computers and it is hit or miss whether it ...

Re: rendering with maxwell/maya issues

The default maya software renderer works when RenderPal is run both "manually" and "in the background" (via scheduled task on startup). I used a local output directory. Rendering using maxwell works when RenderPal is run manually, but not when it is run in the background. HOWEVER, on another system ...
